A group of community members, partners, and stakeholders who have joined RAYSAC to actively participate in community prevention efforts.
The RAYSAC Empowered Activist Leaders Team consists of local high school youth and focuses on building a stronger foundation of youth participation in the community by helping to decrease youth substance abuse.
DEA National Drug Take Back
RAYSAC helps raise community awareness of the dangers of prescription drug abuse and supports proper disposal of unwanted medications.
Red Ribbon Week
A National coordination of drug prevention awareness activities in the Roanoke Valley every October.
Discussion focused on Virginia laws and policies that may give communities new tools to address current substance abuse issues.
