We are partnering with Total Action for Progress during their summer Project Discovery Camp to provide a Substance Abuse Jeopardy activity for the youth.
Come out and beat the heat by joining the Roanoke Sheriff’s office at Fallon Park from 11am-1pm for Hot Dog Day! RAYSAC will be on site giving out prizes, medication safety items, and educational handouts.

One way we protect our youth from addiction is by partnering with area seniors to ensure their medications are secured. RAYSAC will be tabling at the BOCO Sherriff’s Office Senior Social from 10am-1pm at Fincastle Baptist Church.
RAYSAC will be joining Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare to provide lockboxes and other support during the Overdose Awareness Day Memorial event, hosted by the Roanoke Valley Collective Response.
RAYSAC is a member of the Community Coalitions of Virginia (CCOVA), a statewide advocacy group for community coalitions like us across Virginia. We are attending CCOVA’s annual Summit in Staunton, Va. to network with like minded allies and discuss the unique challenges that community coalitions face together.
