Participation Guidelines
RAYSAC PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES FOR AFTER PROM GRAND FINALE EVENT
In order for students from various schools to participate in the Grand Finale Event
and grand prize drawing, all of the following guidelines must be followed.
1. Each school sets up the arrival time for their school sanctioned After
Prom Party and insures that students are required to be there at that time.
2. If a student chooses to leave the After Prom Party, they are not allowed
to re-enter, therefore they will not be eligible for the Grand Prize drawing.
3. Only juniors and seniors of the respective school are eligible for the
Grand Prize drawing. It is up to the school representative to make sure the
qualifiers/alternates attend their respective school to participate.
4. Students must stay to the end of their After Prom Party to be eligible for
the Grand Prize drawing.
5. The winner of the vehicle is responsible for obtaining proper insurance.
They must bring a letter from their insurance company that the car has
liability insurance. If they do they can drive the car home that day. The
student does not have to have a drivers license to win the car.
6. The winner of the vehicle is responsible for paying the taxes and titling fees. These fees are approximately between $400 and $600.
7. School representative(s) are expected to attend all After Prom Grand
Finale Event Committee meetings and actively participate in committee
assignments. Representatives are strongly encouraged to bring a student
so our committee can benefit from their vital input.
8. A poster advertising the After Prom Grand Finale Event must be
displayed in public view at the front door or registration table of the After
Prom Party.
9. Proxies will be accepted in the event of a medical emergency or a
school sanctioned activity that interferes with the Grand Finale Event, i.e.
graduation and baccalaureate. (A graduation beach trip is not an
acceptable reason for using a proxy.) Proxies must be another student
that qualifies under the above guidelines.
10 . If a school chooses to do so, names of 2 to 4 alternates may be
drawn at the After Prom Party. Names of the alternates must be submitted
with the names of the students qualifying for the Event. Only those
alternates chosen in this way will be allowed to participate. Alternates
would be used in situations when the qualifying student is no longer
able/planning to participate.
